Little Red Riding Hood

"Grandmother, what long ears you have!"
— It's to hear you better, my dear.
"Grandma, what big eyes you have!"
— It's to see you better, my dear.
"Grandma, what big teeth you have!"
"It's to eat you!" wolf said,
and swallowed Little Red Riding Hood.

The story of the Little Red Riding Hood has been common in France and Italy since the Middle Ages. In the Alpine foothills and in Tyrol, the fairy tale has been known since at least the 14th century and was particularly popular. It is so amazing that this story is still popular, isn't it?

I made several versions without color to understand the ratio of tones and light and shade. I wanted to express the dramatic effect in the illustration through the composition. All that surrounds is set against the Little Red Cap, and this is enhanced by the tilted diagonal composition.
